The night before, I went to go see Ben after work, a shower and kinda getting my stuff ready to go on our long weekend. I threw some stuff into the dryer but had to leave so I hoped mom would do it when she got home later that evening. I really didn't know I would get home as late as I did but somehow I figured out how to get everything done and get at least 6 hours of sleep in before I had to get up and go to work. I had everything packed the night before and spent at least part of my short morning putting everything in the Escape. The rest of my morning I got ready for work and when I went to get my cereal ready, I found out mom drank all the milk! Lame!
I got to work, chatted with Linda, Laura, Annykay and Joe. Trish, one of the ladies in Human Resources made a Seahawks cake for the upcoming playoff game.
I did some imaging for Joe, finished some files for Laura and then spent the rest of the afternoon dwindling down my missing files list for my personnel file project. We went from several hundred to 85. I called Ben expecting him to be well on his way up to Seattle. Turns out he slept in too long and was now running behind. He then decided we should drive up together to avoid having two cars. I told him to be here around 5, when I got off work. Around 3:30 I was so tired and ready to head up to Seattle so I could put on sweatpants and relax. Surprisingly, we did not run into too bad of traffic. We got to Seattle around 6:30 and we brought our valuables in and spent an hour catching up with Jean before she turned in for the night.
Ben needed some food and he remembered of a place that served burritos as big as newborn babies. Then he remembered the name of the place, Gorditos. It was not that far away but he didn't know the address so we looked it up. It took us less than 5 minutes to get there. We walked in and I noticed all of the pictures of babies and burritos on the wall. They must be as big as newborn babies. I ordered a normal sized burrito and Ben, of course, ordered a newborn baby burrito. We grabbed our table piñata, Fernando, and found a place to sit down.
There were soo many pictures of babies and burritos! When our food came I was in awe on how big Ben's burrito was! WOW! It was true, they were as big as newborn babies!
I ate all of my burrito and Ben ate all but a quarter of his. He decided it was a good idea since he has an important interview the next morning. He didn't want to gorge himself too much. The food was delicious and fresh. I was impressed. We paid and headed back to Jean's. She lives next to the Safeway. Her front yard is literally the Safeway. Ben and I wanted some ice cream so we walked over and got ice cream. We grabbed a Red Box movie just because we could. We watched Ted 2 and ate our ice cream.
We got the bed ready and passed out around 2ish. The bed was a twin and we were very snuggy the entire night.
