Vs. Winlock

Winlock was our first home game of the year.  I didn’t start once again but I got to play a lot.  This game we had to block out, it was a must because we were shorter than they were.  Every single player was taller than we were.  We had to let the guards shoot because they were not very accurate.  When the posts had the ball, we had to help in the key as much as we could. 

Before half time, Alicia hurt her knee and I got to play in her spot.  Once she did that, she didn’t play as much the rest of the season.  We didn’t do much in the second half.  They racked up 18 points to our 3 in the third quarter.  We missed too many lay-ins, 17 of them to be exact.  32 points worth, missed.  Coming back was too far of a reach away.  We let their not-so-good player score 14 points.  Their coach was the idiot who said basketball is not a contact sport.  The final score was 50-41.
